China opening move in the Middle East?

From twitter, "China plans to open a consulate in Kurdistan Region's capital Erbil
in the next coming days."

To be in prophecy you need to be a major player in the Middle East. At present,
a future Kurdistan and China are neck and neck to be the four headed four winged
leopard of Daniel 7.

Both would fit the bill, but China is far enough away you wouldn't think they
would be a presence there. Britain and America have (with French help) shaped
the Middle East and created the groundwork for modern Israel, with the Balfour
Declaration and previous maneuvering with Turkey and Saudi Arabia getting
their support for a Jewish homeland there.

Russia has tangled with Turkey in the Ottoman past, and might do so again.
Currently it is working on a pipeline deal. And has prevented American bombing
of Assad and interfered in the regime change planned. The possibility it would
become a major permanent presence in the Middle East exists. Russia and China
both support Iran and Syria, because of oil concerns.

Russia is popularly viewed as a bear, for the past several centuries.
Astrogeography is an issue, because Ursa Major travels overhead above Russia
as well as North America. But American and Britain (the eagle's wings and
the lion body and head) is already accounted for, it can't be the bear. Since
Daniel 7 seques into the Second Coming of Jesus Christ it has to be viewed
in terms of what would its beast symbols possibly refer to NOW?

Because even if all prophecy experts are wrong on everything, one thing
stands out. Daniel 12:4 says what will characterize "the time of the end: many
shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased."

That is definitely now. It is too worldwide a phenomenon, and escalating,
for the past 200 or 300 years, to not fit this. Even if once in past it was
comparable, or local trends here and there, the present scene of travel and
the increase of knowledge is not then but now, and unprecedented as an
ongoing, not crop out brief, phenomenon.

If Kurdistan is not the leopard, though it might be one of the heads or
wings on the leopard, it could easily be the foothold of China and Russia
in the Middle East. If they especially China give it support and technology
and it becomes a power, they especially China in its fight against jihad,
will have reshaped the Middle East and helped the creation of something
that will likely be a player to the end.

This is speculation. The bear's role so far has been minimal.

Prophecy writers and fans will howl and scream at this, because they
blindly think our various western nations' history is all that matters, and
the bear has played a big role. But not so much in the Middle East, and
that is the center of the world, the rest of us are in the periphery and
the "islands," the huge chunks (incl. continents) that broke off the original
one solid land mass. (aka pangea, but the reason I think this is not from
the scientists so much as Genesis chapter 1.)

So time must pass and Russia be a major presence in the Middle East,
and whoever the leopard is must develop as such, either from a small
element already present, or as a foreign element that becomes a presence
such as China.

Rethinking my previous post, though it is possible it seems
unlikely. The winged lion as Britain-America-NATO has
had more impact relevant to prophecy, in bringing Israel
back to its homeland, than any other option for the winged
lion. It has been a major player in the Middle East in other
ways also before during and after that time to the present.

A New Twist on the Winged Lion?

Lately I've been following the action in Syria and Iraq involving
Kurdish resistance to ISIL. And I stumbled on this. Seems the
eagle and sometimes the falcon is a kind of totem animal for them.

And they are (at least lately) being referred to as lions. And there are
four main loci of operation, which might end up being four separate
Kurdistans or four autonomous regions within a united Kurdistan:
Turkey, Syria, Iraq and Iran (with some scattered presence elsewhere).
This of course would only be relevant to the chicken winged leopard,
not the eagle winged lion.

It is being argued that they, being devoted to multiethnic peace
and being more focussed on their culture and people than on
any one religion, therefore devoted to secularism (at least those
running the Iraqi and Syrian sections and the PKK element
in Turkey) are the best boots on the ground against ISIS/ISIL,
and should get a lot more help from the USA.

Russia has a history of friendly relations with the Kurds.

The Kurds have a plethora of religions among them, both main
strands of Islam (with a lot of concomitant problems like
arranged marriages and female genital mutilation in Iraq and
probably elsewhere, but a long and complicated history of
some undercurrent of sex equality that occasionally surfaces
in the form of some female tribal leader or woman warriors
here and there, and you can search old photos of them and
maybe once see a veiled woman and only produced a few
jihadis so far), at least three zoroastrian connected small weird
cults and 10% of the population is Christian. Apparently you
are not at that much risk of being killed for converting from
Islam to Christianity among them, one of the earlier Barzanis
who left a legacy of environmental and other issues was a
Christian convert and didn't lose his leadership position.

Both the Rojava (Syria) and KRG (Iraq) groups have just
outlawed polygamy and the latter are looking at prosecuting
those who evade the law already in place by going outside of
Kurdish controlled land. Both have female combat troops,
though the KRG run Peshmerga may be scaling back their
actual use, while in Rojava (location of Kobane) the PYD
govt. there has both male (YPG) and female (YPJ) combat
units in place before the ISIS attack that brought them to world
attention.

yes Babylon WAS reduced to ruins

this article shows that, contrary to a lot of modern interpreters,
Babylon WAS destroyed, not by Cyrus but by repeated invaders
after him. Since it was to be destroyed to not be inhabited again,
and is only ruins, only some outlying villages remain but not the
city, at one point travellers couldn't even see the ruins and
weren't sure it ever existed, this is not going to be end time

The theory that Jerusalem is end time Babylon fails because of
Revelation saying that it is spiritually called Sodom where Jesus
Christ was Crucified.

That leaves Rome as a possible, but NOT A ROMAN CATHOLIC
ROME! if Rome is end time Babylon in Revelation it is not a
Roman Catholic (or any kind of Christian unless maybe
hyper charismatic of the Bethel Church in Redding, CA
sort) Rome. The reason is, that this looks like a revival
of paganism (not disguised paganism as detractors of
Romanism like to call it) and Reconstructionist Paganism
is working there now. Reconstructionist Paganism take
archaeological and historical information, and attempts
to recreate accurately (not in a misty eyed New Age sense)
the paganism of pre Christian cultures, thus, Celtic
Reconstructionism, Slavic Reconstructionism, Aztec
Reconstructionism, etc. etc.

The Greek form was granted legal status in Greece some
years back, followed by a rash of fires I think was the
wrath of God. The Roman Reconstructionism is working
in Italy. Since I haven't been on the yahoo egroups that
specialize in any of this for several years, my information
is out of date, and unless the movements collapsed I can
only assume they are gaining more ground.

These appeal to ethnic pride and a sense of antiquity and
basically all argue that a people should worship their
ancestral "gods" and not Jesus Christ.

while there is evidence that "Babylon" was a nickname

given by Jews to Rome, and that likely Peter did refer to

Rome when saying "Babylon" since in those days Christian

and Jewish pop culture were the same, that doesn't mean

the Vatican has anything to do with this. (It is not even on

any of the seven hills of Rome, and is outside both modern

and ancient Roman city limits.)

There might be other options. Or Babylon the Great a mystery might
be what Mark S. Watson called a "moving stronghold," a spiritual
stronghold that relocates when its host is destroyed, and he and
others figure it is currently USA or at least New York City.

Wikipedia shows that of all the cities in the world built on seven hills,
USA has TWENTY of them. The 20 cities listed incl. many I know

nothing about, but the ones I do know something about are

part of the great evil so "Babylon" might refer to a network of

cities involved in this, with NYC at the apex. Other possibilities exist,

this might take longer to play out than most think.

Mecca as Babylon fails because nothing that happens to it would be
visible from the ships at sea, unless some cataclysm turns it into a
deep water port in future.

Daniel Revisited book review

Daniel Revisited by Mark Davidson
This writer has done some good research, but he is making some
bad mistakes.

Legio X that destroyed Jerusalem and The Temple were Syrian
and Arab, Titus gave remarks identifying them as such.

Hubal was the god of the Quraish, H'bal was how baal was said,
and allah is basically “the god” meaning whatever god you were
talking about so hubal was allah of Quraish and of the Kaaba, the
main one there, and appeared as a man. So did “gabriel” who
acted like a demon. Islam is repackaged baal worship.

The people of the ruler to come would then be Syrian specific
or Arab in general. However, might be an Arab who had Jewish
ancestry of the tribe of Dan, born in Rome with Roman
citizenship from an unchaste nun and the Arab or Syrian man,
and himself technically islamic or even Christian, in theory, a
nominal, who becomes a regional ruler in the northen segment
of the last empire, and rises to power in that empire, displacing
other rulers or annexing their regions.

Islamic Antichrist errs in assuming that the statue dream is from
the perspective of Babylon, and Rome in having power over
Babylon even part of the time conquered it, and the wording
doesn't require the kind of total conquest the writer ascribes,
and Rome did conquer Ctesiphon at least once.

It is unreasonable that Rome, which ruled over Judea, would not
be in prophecy, and it is in its day that the eternal kingdom is
set up Christ's first coming, not in the days of Islam.

The first horseman who conquers is probably Islam, and/or the
Turks.

That the ram vision has to do with Antiochus Epiphanius does
not rule out it being end times also, that the former was a
prefiguring and will play out again, because Antiochus did
fulfill all these points or most of them.

One of the biggest weaknesses of this writer is that he ignores
the Scriptures which SAY THAT THE RAM AND GOAT
ARE ABOUT THE MEDO PERSIAN EMPIRE AND THE
GREEKS. No end time relevance.

The deep leafy green implication of chloros of the “pale” horse
being the islamic green, might be legitimate, and the fourth
of the world equating to islamic held turf looks like a fit, so

some of this may be islamic persecution of Christians and Jews

4 beasts of Daniel 7

I am of the opinion, that Daniel chapter 7 is not a rehash of the

statue dream of Nebuchadnezzar, which ends in the establishment

of the eternal Kingdom of Heaven, but is about end time empires

since the vision of Daniel 7 segues into the Second Coming and

the Last Judgement.

A few other prophecy interpreters are getting wise to this also, but

so far I haven't seen the entire picture I paint from it.

rule number one, to be in prophecy as anything but a minor

mention if that, you have to be a major player in the Middle East,

because prophecy centers on Israel in particular, and the Middle

East in general. With the Eagle (America) winged Lion (Britain

and the aggressive predatory nature of America its language

and culture and origin being British) being America, or America-

Britain-NATO, evidently this is going to be taken down, but not

to total destruction. This beast has the wings plucked off it, and

made to stand up like a man, and a man's heart given to it.

So it becomes human like instead of beastial, and repents.

If these beasts relate to the last days, then we need to look at

what they mean to people now. How anyone relates a bear to

Iran I don't know. It is obviously Russia, and it has three ribs in

its mouth, and the RIBS are telling it to eat a lot of flesh, looks

like Russia will make acquisitions that are viewed as victims,

but are not, and that will encourage it to move more aggressively.

Russia has already had clashes with Turkey in past centuries.

And is currently poised to protect Assad of Syria, and China has

backed this, and also backs Iran, being a major buyer of its oil.

But that's not being a major player in the Middle East. Yet.

what might draw both of them into the middle East like ugly on

ape, is developing now. ISIS/ISIL/IS. This jihadi element and its

buddy Boko Haram engaging in near identical behavior and

setting up its own caliphate sort of, is making friends and converts

all over Asia and has agents in Europe and elsewhere. The ISIS

supporters who attacked Kurds protesting in Germany a little while

ago incl. people from Chechnya. China has already taken strong

action against the jihadi separatists among Uyghurs.

To solve a problem, you take the fight to the home base.

That would mean sooner or later, China will invade the Middle East

to crush ISIS, and Russia will probably do so also. They would

certainly support each other in this, and Russia might invade to

protect Assad.

So the groundwork for such events is being laid now. Crimea I

think is one of those three ribs. Eastern Ukraine or Novorussya

I think it is calling itself now, has requested to be admitted to

Russia, but Russia has (so far) refused. What the other two

ribs will consist of I don't know. Perhaps it is not meant to be

precise, perhaps something about Crimea qualifies as three ribs

not one.

Maybe all this won't play out yet. But maybe it will.

China is the most likely candidate for the leopard (current range is

in China as well as Africa) and it has four wings "of a fowl," not

of a predatory bird. China is well known for chickens, ducks, geese,

maybe they are breeding turkeys or some other fowl now. Four heads

would point to four loci of power and China has been positioning

itself in Africa, South America and Mexico or Central America.

The first head of course would be China itself. wings might

also point to flight capability, military, civilian, near space and deep

space. It is certainly positioning itself in these categories. My guess

is, the end won't come until after China has bases on the Moon

and Mars maybe outside the solar system.

The fourth beast is indescribable and has teeth and talons of metal.

It will crush the other three, though they continue to exist. All these

beasts come out of the sea, which is probably the Mediteranean.

If the prior attributions are correct, then they come from west, north

and east. So the fourth comes from the south, from Africa.

The predator observed by Daniel might be a dinosauric thing, something

that will be discovered in the jungles of Africa eventually, and become

a national symbol. Something he was not acquainted with, not even a

chimera. This is why I think it is dinosauric.

Whether this empire will be islamic or not is anyone's guess.

But it is out of this empire that the antichrist will come. Since it will

conquer all the other empires, it will certainly hold all land in the Middle

East or most of it, and much of the lands of the other beasts, though

perhaps not all.

Therefore ALL the speculations about the antichrist (except that

he is not an individual but a system) could be correct, he could be

of any ethnic origin, any religious origin, and any geographic origin,

and be a local ruler under the empire's ruler in some northern

section of the Middle East when he comes to power.

the beginning of the end for US and NATO?

http://www.globalresearch.ca/dangerous-crossroads-us-nato-to-deploy-ground-troops-conduct-large-scale-naval-exercises-against-unnamed-enemy/5397415

even as the times that seemed similar before, USSR vs. US conflict, were not the time yet, this may be another "not yet".

or maybe we are fast moving to when the eagle winged lion is taken down, and the bear with liberated elements (viewed by others as food or conquest victims) urging it on, moves to expand over Europe, northwestern USA, and maybe Turkey.

forget the statue, look at the monsters.

We are told that the statue in Nebuchadnezzar's dream, relates to the end times, that it is yes, about the ancient civilizations, but that somehow the feet with mixed iron and clay toes, is about today, that there will be a revived Roman empire. Postmodern Prophecy Paradigmers add nephilim hybrids to it, with the issue of mixing with the seed of men, but this relates to how Rome incorporated many other nations and peoples into itself. Eventually even non purebred Romans were rulers! This was partly an effort to maintain the empire, to fit everyone in and make it stronger, but this failed.

And a great boulder appears, and beats the whole statue to dust, and this is the Kingdom that will be set up in the days of the iron and clay feet.

This is the first coming of Jesus Christ, Who set up His Kingdom then, and died and rose from the dead, ascended to Heaven and will come again from thence with glory, and bring the Kingdom into full reality. We look for a city yet to come from Heaven, we are not citizens of this world, except provisionally, conditionally. No citizenship for us in any city state or nation except as secondary to this.

But interpreters confuse this with the Second Coming.

In Daniel chapter 7, we see four beasts come out of the sea, and the whole thing segues into the Second Coming, because the Last Judgement is shown also.

For some reason interpreters have assumed this is just a rehash of the statue dream, and these are ancient empires again, and that there will be a revival of the Roman empire at the last.

Maybe maybe not, but the statue is about the past. It is over and done with, all of it. The four beasts are about the present and future.
